The digitalization of the purchasing process promises organisations the potential to be a competitive advantage in today’s market. However, in order to fully realise these opportunities and meet the expectations of procurement digitisation, a critical assessment of the potential benefits and implementation strategies is required.
In cooperation with COSMAN, we are developing a study that provides a systematic analysis of the current state of the art of procurement digitalization and develops a theoretical understanding of this phenomenon and its strategic implications.
Preliminary results will be presented at the International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association (IPSERA) Conference 2023 and at the European Decision Science Insistitute (EDSI) Conference 2023.
